On behalf of the organizing committee, we cordially invite you to join us at the Plant and Animal Genome XXIV Conference, which will be held at the beautiful Town and Country hotel on January 9-13, 2016 in San Diego, California, USA. We welcome you to join us and present at The Phytoremediation Genome Workshop, which is scheduled for Tuesday– 10:30am -12:40pm – Pacific Salon 1. Program details are available on the web at http://www.intlpag.org

We are excited that the Plant and Animal Genome Conference (The largest Ag-Genomics Meeting in the World) will host a workshop dedicated to research on Phytoremediation for the first time. PAG brings together over 3,000 leading genetic scientists and researchers in plant and animal research, and over 130 exhibits, 150 workshops, 1100 posters and over 1800 abstracts. We hope you can join us and share your recent research and discoveries. If you plan to attend please email the workshop organizer at azayed@monsanto.com no later than October 15, 2015 with a tentative title to your talk. We will select no more than 6 talks for the workshop and final decisions will be made by October 19, 2015. If you are not selected for a talk you will be asked to submit an abstract for a poster presentation.

The selected workshop speakers will receive an email with instructions on how to submit their abstract and register for the workshop. They will NOT be able to submit their workshop abstract until the workshop organizers have added them as speakers. All conference speakers and poster presenters will be required to register on the conference website (https://pag.confex.com/pag/xxiv/registration/index.cgi). Workshop speakers will be guaranteed the early registration discounted rates no matter when they register. This only applies to workshop speakers. In order to qualify for the discounted rate the speaker MUST be accepted and listed as a speaker for the workshop. After the November 1 early registration deadline, workshop speakers who still need to register will have to request a discount via email (pag@scherago.com) prior to registering.

Please note that Speakers MUST be registered to submit their abstract.

Deadline for workshop abstract submissions is November 6, 2015.

Deadline for poster abstract submissions is October 30, 2015
